In defence of the original poster, it is perhaps unreasonable to assume
that all list members should remember where to find the web page for this
list (some may not ever have seen the web page, and received subscription
instructions from third parties), even if it's just a few clicks on from
http://www.haage-partner.com/. Likewise, for people who subscribed to the
list ages ago, not everyone keeps really old welcome emails, and they could
have been lost due to hardware failures, theft, etc, etc.
Most mailing lists include the unsubscription address (and/or direct web
URL) in the sig and/or the mail headers, to make it as easy as possible to
unsubscribe. Granted, even using those methods, some people will still
incorrectly try to unsubscribe via the list address instead :)
